America's Future

National School Choice Week in partnership with organizations and communities in all 50 states, shines a spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children.

National School Choice Week believes that parents should be empowered to choose the best educational environments for their children and supports a variety of school choice options -- from encouraging increased access to great public schools, to public charter schools, magnet schools, virtual schools, private schools, homeschooling and more.

Will you join the movement to give parents the right to choose schools that are best for their children?

The public school system is at best inefficient and at worst constructively harmful. It’s time to give the supposed beneficiaries of publicly-funded education a choice in their education, and it’s absolutely absurd to believe that we need to force a benefit onto others.

I’m a single Christian but with no children but if I were married and had children (my adoption) I would want to send them to a Christian school but couldn’t afford it (currently I’m part of the lower middle-class). I think parents who want to send their children to Christian/private school should be able to but if they can’t afford it without school vouchers it’s not right and unfair (just because a family is considered midle-class….lower or upper….doesn’t mean they can afford to send their children to a Christian/private school).
