Bachman Academy Balloon Launch for School Choice
Students, faculty and staff will gather to launch yellow balloons to shine a spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children; to show our support for every student’s right to effective, motivating, challenging schools and teachers; to share our belief that parents should be empowered to choose the best educational environments for their children; and to share that there are a variety of options -- whether that is encouraging increased access to great public schools, to public charter schools, magnet schools, virtual schools, private schools, or homeschooling and more.

California Virtual Academies celebrates School Choice with Cookies and Crafts!

The California Virtual Academies are a tuition-free network of public schools that use the K¹² curriculum, which is accessed via an online school as well as through more traditional methods. Materials are delivered right to the family's doorstep — including books, CDs, and even bags of rocks and dirt. We partner parents and students with a state-credentialed teacher to guide and track their progress through the curriculum. There are regularly scheduled face-to-face meetings as well. Student-to-student interaction is emphasized too, so CAVA students are always well-educated and well-socialized.
To celebrate National School Choice Week, and the great choice that our school presents, we invite you to Cookies and Crafts at the Park!
